About Me

Abstract Artist

I studied Fashion Design at Harrow College in 1982, and it was there that I developed an eye for form, texture, and detail—qualities that continue to shape my work today.

I then went on to run a successful business, painting over 600 large canvases for nightclubs, concerts and corporate events over a period of 12 years.

This experience significantly refined my understanding of scale, composition, and atmosphere—elements that are now central to my work as an abstract artist.

Currently, I focus on creating large-scale, textured canvases that reflect a deep connection to my Indian heritage. My work is characterised by rich, layered surfaces and particularly the use of gold and opulent tones—to convey depth, identity, and emotion.

I have held a sell-out exhibition at the Fishlab Gallery in Whitstable and continue to undertake commissioned work for both private collectors and corporate clients.

Whether for a home or office, each commission is a collaborative process—an extension of my passion for creating work that resonates deeply with its surroundings.

You can also see some of my work at Ting Gallery in Deal, Kent.

Additionally, my art is represented by West End House Gallery and showcased at the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea in March.

Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in acquiring any of my paintings or wish to discuss a bespoke commission.

“Abstract expressions woven with culture, texture, and depth.”
